A Challenging Golf Course for all abilities Oakland Park Golf Club is a privately owned family business. The 18 hole, par 67 course with Driving Range is set in pleasantly undulating mature parkland on the edge of the Chilterns, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Designed by Jonathan Gaunt, a highly acclaimed member of the British Institute of Golf Course Architects, the course is easy walking, free draining and provides an excellent challenge to players of all abilities.
The facility boasts a warm and friendly welcome to members and visitors alike. The traditionally designed clubhouse has both licensed Bar and extensive Snack Menu with Daily Specials as well as upper floor lounge/meeting room, showers and changing rooms.
Green Fees Oakland Park welcomes visitors to Oakland Park at any time of the day, Monday to Friday and at certain times on weekends and bank holidays. Visitors can book a tee time up to 5 days in advance, subject to tee time availability.
Oakland Park accepts visitors using any of the recognised 2 for 1 vouchers.
Twilight Green Fees - Discounted twilight green fees are available throughout the year. Twilight times generally commence 3 hours before sunset.

Societies Oakland Park will tailor a golf society package to any requirement that you require. The club prides it on taking even the smallest into account to make your golf day a very special one. The minimum number of players to make a society booking is 12 and the club can comfortably manage societies of up to 60 people.

Tuition The head professional, Alistair Thatcher, is a qualified member of the Professional Golfers Association and has over 17 years experience in the golfing industry. Using a combination of easy to understand theory followed by an intensive practical session applying new techniques, Alistair has built a very good reputation among golfers in the area for bringing out the best in players of all abilities.
Dale Moore, the PGA assistant is well into his third and final year of training and has more than two years experience coaching golf.
Oakland Park Golf Academy Dale has introduced a Golfing Academy, that is proving very popular and space is limited which, is a course of 6 lessons that will introduce you to golf or enhance your existing golfing ability. It also entitles you to 50% off your Membership Joining Fee.
The club can offer a full range of lessons to both newcomers to the game as well as the most experienced players.
Pro Shop Oakland Park Golf Club is home to approximately 250 lady members and because of this the Pro Shop is able to offer a wide selection of ladies golf clothing and accessories.
They stock a variety of Knitwear, Polo Shirts, Capri Pants, Shorts, Trousers, Skirts and Waterproof Clothing in sizes small to extra large with matching socks and visors. The Pro Shop has ranges from Pringle, Green Lamb, Valerie Herman, Backtee, Ping, Daly Sport and LPGA.
The gloves are Weather Soft GTX from Footjoy or Tan Fit and Fashion Fit from Kasco and are available in various colours. The shoe collection includes Ecco (Ace, Birdie, Gryphon 2004) and Footjoy (Greenjoys, Cooljoys, Aqualites 2004).
